As a Supervisory IT Security Specialist (Enterprise Assessments (EAS) and Cyber Posture Assessment Services (CPAS) Supervisory Lead) within the OCIO Cybersecurity and Privacy Division, Cybersecurity Service Line, you will be responsible for oversight, strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of the EAS and CPAS services. Duties
- Oversees development, delivery, and continuous improvement of the OCIO/CSPD (Cybersecurity and Privacy Division) Enterprise Assessment and Cyber Posture Assessment services in support of NASA’s corporate and mission cybersecurity resilience.
- Collaborates with other NASA OCIO stakeholders and external Federal Agencies (such as DHS/CISA) to ensure Cyber Posture Assessment and Enterprise Assessment Cybersecurity Services are in alignment with the NASA, OCIO, and CSPD goals and strategy.
- Serves as a Service Element Lead within the CSPD Cybersecurity Service Line.
- Serves as Supervisor for the OCIO/CSPD Service Line Enterprise Assessment and Cyber Posture Assessment Services teams.
- Briefs senior management (e.g. NASA SAISO, NASA CIO, OCIO Boards) regarding OCIO/CSPD Enterprise Assessments Services and Cyber Posture Assessment Services operations, Services enhancements, and significant Services findings and/or accomplishments.
- Develops strategy, architecture, plans and roadmaps that align with the NASA, OCIO, SAO and CSPD goals and strategic direction. Utilizes the governance process to document, communicate, and obtain decisions.
- Builds a positive rapport and routine within the CSPD service line team and the stakeholders that ensures effective two-way communication and proactive problem resolution.
- Perform a full range of supervisory duties which includes assigning and evaluating work; recommending personnel actions; taking disciplinary actions; and identifying training needs and developing employees.

- Current Federal employees must meet qualifications, time in grade, and 90 days after competitive appointment requirements by the closing date of the announcement.

Qualifications
GS-15: To qualify at the GS-15 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level:
- Executing or overseeing Cybersecurity System Security plan controls assessments (e.g. NIST-based 800-53 System Security Plan Assessments) and/or Cybersecurity posture assessments (as examples System/Application Penetration testing, Social Engineering testing, etc.) in compliance with the Federal Cybersecurity requirements;
- Developing Cybersecurity services strategy, implementation plans, or roadmaps, and executing or overseeing Cybersecurity services delivery in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders and partners;
- Supervising, overseeing and/or mentoring Cybersecurity Information System Security personnel and/or contractors.

You must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible for this position.
