Healthcare Valuation Intern

Associate interns work as part of a client service team on a variety of “real life” accounting and consulting projects. Each intern receives mentorship and support to help guide their success. A formal evaluation process rates performance based on the quality of work, application of accounting and consulting knowledge, and ability to meet time constraints.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in preparation of financial calculations and models in excel.
  • Documents work performed and summarizes findings for clients and reviewing staff.
  • Prepares narrative reports.
  • Assists in proofing schedules, calculations, work papers, reports, and other documents.
  • Accepts responsibility for accuracy of data entry, accumulation, and maintenance in all aspects of work performed.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate with valuation team and manage workload.
  • Collaborates with broader healthcare practice group to provide insights to increase value to clients.
  • Assists managing data collection efforts.
  • Assists with multiple projects in varying stages of completion.

Qualifications:
•Junior, Senior, or Masters student actively pursuing an accounting degree
•Proficiency with computer and spreadsheet software programs, or software appropriate to practice area
•General knowledge of accounting principles, income taxes, business valuation, equity research or consulting area as appropriate
