Ergon, Inc in Flowood, MS currently has an opening for a Human Resources Information Systems Administrator within the HR Service Center.

The Human Resources Information Systems Administrator supports and maintains the organizations HRIS applications and modules.

HRIS Administrator Job Duties:

  • Maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Identifies systems improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
  • Sets up permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations for HRIS users.
  • Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
  • Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for managers and HR staff.
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Updates the organization structure, pay grades, job and position titles, and other changes related organizational changes.
  • Manages and troubleshoots LMS and Onboarding 2.0 related tasks.
  • Serves as a second level testing for new tax tapes, tax authorities, monthly tax tubs updates, new functionally/transports in EC/ECP, HRSP's updates, and new wage types.
  • Manages and maintains Employee Central Workflows.
  • Assists with the new software and SAP modules implementation.
  • Serves as a backup for troubleshooting payroll related issues. Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
  • Performs other duties as required.

HRIS Administrator Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software specifically with Excel applications.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience working with SAP, including specific training with SAP applications and system landscapes including the ability to configure, monitor and troubleshoot SAP systems.
