Ergon, Inc in Flowood, MS currently has an opening for a HR Coordinator within the HR Service Center.

The HR Coordinator supports various services within the HR Service Center, including data entry and its maintenance, employee inquiries, onboarding, employee referrals, employee records, promotions, transfers, contractor management, and other HR Corporate programs throughout the U.S. Customers include employees, managers, and HR Business Partners. Coordinator will ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

HR Coordinator Job Duties:

  • Answers and processes requests/inquiries from employees and managers
  • Processes appropriate, accurate and timely employee and business transactions in the HRIS system where not applicable for self-service
  • Assures that transactions processed meet quality standards
  • Provides onboarding
  • Maintains and reconciles employee records
  • Performs administrative and record keeping tasks related to staffing changes
  • Conducts or record audits and mandatory reports (I-9 audits, EEO-1 fillings, payroll audits, etc.)
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements, improvement initiatives
  • Works closely with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits to ensure timely and correct pay, benefits information, issue resolution, and change implementation.
  • Provide support with tuition reimbursement and service award programs
  • Additional responsibilities as needed within the HR Service Center

HR Coordinator Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Three years of office experience preferred, with at least one year of human resources experience highly preferred.
  • Experience in the following HRIS systems: SAP/Success Factors
  • HR policy and program administration experience is a plus.
  • Intermediate level MS office skills are required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to communicate effectively in a professional, positive, and courteous manner at all times.
