Overview

Summary

The Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for coding, testing and configuring on the Salesforce platform. This position supports the Salesforce practice in a fast paced, high energy and growth business segment, and is involved in the technical details of projects. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will support existing Salesforce applications as well as consulting with clientele on the implementation of new Salesforce projects. You will be looked upon to help lead code reviews, ensuring best practices are being followed, as well as relied on being a technical leader on projects. The position requires the design, coding, engineering, documentation and testing of application solutions.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Participates and leads in requirements gathering sessions with customers
  • Works with Business System Analysts, Project Owners, and other team members to create and refine user stories
  • Creates and contributes to technical documentation including scopes of work, functional requirements, and other design and support documentation
  • Codes projects using existing code standards and conventions, or similar best practice documentation
  • Provides input to assist in overall team process improvement
  • Ensures that all code retains logical stability, reliability, confidentiality, and integrity of client systems as in accordance with client policies and procedures
  • Writes and maintains unit tests and assist with the creation and maintenance of automated testing
  • Utilizes best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce platform
  • Initiates and provides support to other members of the development team and solution consultants

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience developing on Salesforce platform, or equivalent experience (e.g., object-oriented programming, front-end development, relevant college courses)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of software design principles and patterns
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment
  • Software engineering skills with the Force.com Platform (Apex, LWC, SOQL)
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, SOAP/REST, XML/JSON, etc.)
  • Experience working on the Salesforce platform
  • Experience with GitHub, BitBucket, or other similar software version control applications

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Application Builder, Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, Application Architect, System Architect
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies such as XP/Scrum

Pay Range

$115,000 - $145,000

Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
