As the Select Sales RVP West, you will lead the Select Sales organization west of our physical footprint (MS, AL, TN), driving revenue growth, market expansion, and operational excellence across the C Spire Business portfolio. You will be responsible for exceeding sales targets within the Select Sales segment, focused on resale and business opportunities generating monthly recurring revenue. This role plays a critical leadership function in accelerating market share, strengthening customer relationships, expanding OEM partnerships, and building a high-performing sales culture focused on accountability, execution, and exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

What You Will Do

In all of your duties, you will have a relentless, obsessive, yet disciplined approach to manage all details to perfection and deliver desired results.

• Develop and execute market-driven sales strategies that accelerate revenue growth across connectivity, telephony, managed services, infrastructure, cloud, and professional services solutions.

• Lead the Select Sales organization west of C Spire physical footprint with accountability for revenue performance, profitability, market share growth, and customer retention.

• Partner with sales leadership to develop and optimize quotas, compensation plans, territory alignment, staffing strategies, and sales plans that support organizational objectives and profitability goals.

• Design, implement, and manage scalable sales processes that improve forecasting accuracy, pipeline management, operational consistency, and sales execution.

Identify opportunities for sales process optimization and partner with leadership to improve operational efficiency and overall team performance.

• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing sales talent while fostering a culture focused on accountability, ownership, collaboration, and results.

• Develop and lead sales enablement and training initiatives that strengthen product knowledge, sales execution, and customer engagement capabilities.

Utilize market intelligence, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and strengthen positioning within targeted markets.

• Partner with Marketing teams to support go-to-market strategies, demand generation efforts, and market positioning initiatives across the C Spire Business portfolio.

• Own the development, accuracy, and distribution of sales metrics, dashboards, reporting, and business intelligence necessary to drive data-driven decision making.

• Build and maintain strong executive relationships with customers, OEM partners, channel partners, and manufacturers including Cisco, Dell Technologies, VMware, and related strategic partners.

Monitor customer engagement, customer satisfaction, and market activity to ensure exceptional customer experience and long-term client retention.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, marketing, and executive leadership to align business priorities and deliver consistent customer outcomes.

• Drive a fast-paced, high-performance environment focused on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and measurable business impact.

In addition to that, we require:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant sales and leadership experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of IT sales leadership experience.

• Proven experience driving complex sales execution strategies and achieving evolving business objectives.

• Strong experience leading sales organizations within technology, telecommunications, managed services, or related industries.

• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across internal and external partner organizations.

• High-level experience working with OEM and channel partners including Cisco, Dell Technologies, VMware, and similar providers.

• Proven expertise in sales automation tools, forecasting, pipeline management, metrics, and sales productivity processes.

• Strong experience partnering with sales leadership teams to achieve revenue and profitability goals.

• Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to lead within a fast-paced, results-oriented environment while maintaining strong operational discipline.

• Strong work ethic, accountability, and passion for excellence.

• Experience leading regional telecommunications or managed services sales organizations.

• Experience developing scalable sales processes and operational frameworks.

• Experience with advanced sales analytics, forecasting models, and performance reporting systems.

• Executive-level relationship management experience with enterprise customers and strategic OEM partners.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer keyboard and/or mouse while viewing a computer screen. Regular travel throughout your territory is required to support customer meetings, sales initiatives, partner engagements, and team leadership responsibilities. Additional travel to MS, AL, or TN may occasionally be required based on business needs.
