As the Manager, Indirect Residential Sales, you will drive new customer acquisition across the fiber footprint by working through dealer partners to build, onboard, train, and optimize door-to-door residential sales teams in targeted areas of opportunity. You will lead through influence: setting expectations, providing coaching, and holding dealer-led teams accountable to performance, customer experience, and brand standards. Your leadership will shape how C Spire is represented and experienced throughout our fiber-served communities.

Responsibilities:

What You Will Do

In all of your duties, you will have a relentless, obsessive, yet disciplined approach to manage all details to perfection and deliver desired results.

  • Accountable for third‑party quota performance through strategic partnerships with authorized dealers, deploying residential sales teams aligned to priority markets across the fiber footprint.

  • Influence hiring profiles, onboarding processes, and training execution for dealer-managed Residential Account Executives to ensure readiness and brand alignment.

  • Establish clear performance expectations for dealer-led teams and actively manage day-to-day sales performance through metrics, reviews, and field engagement.

  • Develop and track key performance indicators to evaluate productivity, neighborhood penetration, conversion, and customer experience outcomes.

  • Provide consultative sales leadership, coaching, and best practices to dealer partners and field leaders to elevate sales effectiveness and brand representation.

  • Lead dealer teams through change, including new products, offers, tools, and company initiatives, ensuring consistent and accurate execution.

  • Monitor adherence to C Spire policies, sales processes, and customer experience standards, addressing gaps to protect brand integrity and satisfaction.

  • Meet or exceed customer satisfaction standards, including feedback and survey-driven metrics, through proactive coaching and issue resolution.

  • Conduct regular in-field ride-alongs with dealer leadership and sales representatives to observe performance, provide feedback, and reinforce expectations.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams—including operations, installers, marketing, and leadership—to resolve issues and remove obstacles to sales success.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of residential growth objectives.

In addition to that, we require:

  • At least four years of proven success in outside sales, routinely exceeding sales quotas and performance metrics.

  • Proficient in the use of a CRM system, as well as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, and evidence of effective leadership abilities.

  • Frequent travel in and around our footprint is required.

We will give special consideration to candidates who have:

  • A college degree

  • Proven experience in telecommunications / wireless services preferred.

  • Previous leadership, supervisor, or manager experience preferred.

  • Door-to-door sales experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screen, as well as a telephone. Must be able to work a flexible schedule shared by other department members including some evenings and weekends.
