What You Will Do

In all of your duties, you will have a relentless, obsessive, yet disciplined approach to manage all details to perfection and deliver desired results.

• Exercise accounting control over a group of general ledger accounts.

• Record, analyze, and interpret financial transactions, and communicate results to management.

• Reconcile general ledger account balances.

• Create financial statements or other reports in conformity with GAAP or other regulatory standards.

• Prepare state and local tax compliance filings.

• Research technical accounting issues and assist in implementation of new standards.

• Coordinate and support external audit processes.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for projects requiring specialized accounting knowledge.

• Make recommendations to management for problem resolution.

• Use software applications such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics programs to assemble and manipulate data.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

In addition to that, we require:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Accounting or closely related equivalent.

• Excellent organizational, computer, and communication skills.

We will give special consideration to candidates who have:

• One to three years of related accounting work experience.

• CPA, CPA eligibility, MBA, or MPA.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screen. Must be able to lift 15lbs, have finger/wrist/arm mobility, and finger dexterity. Ability to work after hours or on weekends as needed.
