This strategic leader will be responsible for building, scaling, and managing a high-performance door-to-door sales organization that drives aggressive subscriber growth and market penetration. You will oversee regional sales managers and teams to ensure flawless execution, sustainable growth, and alignment with C Spire’s strategic goals. This role is ideal for a driven leader with a proven record in building scalable sales operations, optimizing market performance, and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Responsibilities:
What You Will Do
In all of your duties, you will have a relentless, obsessive, yet disciplined approach to manage all details to perfection and deliver desired results.
• Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to drive residential fiber growth through direct-to-consumer sales channels.
• Recruit, lead, and mentor a team of regional sales managers and field sales representatives to achieve and exceed subscriber growth and retention targets.
• Establish and maintain a high-performance sales culture emphasizing accountability, customer experience, and compliance.
• Design and implement best-in-class door-to-door sales processes, training programs, and incentive structures that maximize productivity and morale.
• Analyze customer data, sales metrics, and competitive dynamics to identify trends, refine territory performance, and optimize field deployment.
• Partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams to align campaign execution, service readiness, and lead generation efforts.
• Define, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring consistent executive visibility into sales results, forecasts, and emerging opportunities.
• Establish scalable processes to manage sales operations efficiently, including CRM utilization, territory management, and reporting frameworks.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and consumer protection regulations.
• Represent C Spire’s Fiber business as a trusted ambassador in the community, fostering engagement and brand loyalty.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support strategic initiatives and company objectives.

In addition to that, we require:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive sales experience, including 3 or more years leading door-to-door or field sales teams.
• Demonstrated success in building, scaling, and optimizing direct-to-consumer sales operations.
• Strong background in telecom, broadband, utilities, or related industries.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and motivational skills with the ability to drive large, distributed teams toward high performance.
• Highly analytical and data-driven, with hands-on experience using CRM and analytics tools to manage and forecast performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of aligning teams and influencing across all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to travel regularly to support regional teams and market initiatives.
We will give special consideration to candidates who have:
• Experience launching or expanding fiber or broadband services into new markets.
• Familiarity with residential sales compliance, customer verification, and consumer protection regulations.
• Experience with sales enablement systems, territory planning, and performance management platforms.
• A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods and use computer keyboard and/or mouse while viewing a computer screen. Must be able to travel frequently within assigned markets and occasionally overnight. Some evenings and weekends may be required to support team and market initiatives.
