This job ensures the delivery of exceptional customer relations/service during TruBridge Implementations that include interface projects. The Project Manager bridges the communication between design, development, implementation/support of TruBridge application interfaces with third party vendors. The Project Manager keeps interface install projects progressing smoothly. This role establishes project objectives for interfaces included in system-wide implementations of the TruBridge software and effectively collaborates with TruBridge departments to work toward implementation goals. The Project Manager ensures critical path timelines are being met from both an TruBridge and client perspective

Essential Functions: In addition to working as prescribed in our Performance Factors specific responsibilities of this role include:

  • Maintains and utilizes a comprehensive knowledge of TruBridge Implementation Methodology.
  • Serves as the key point person from Interface Services in planning, leading, and accepting ownership for all aspects of the interface implementations of System Wide Implementations (SWIMPs) - from inception to closure.
  • Clearly establishes project goals and objectives.
  • Ensures that employees have a clear understanding of their responsibilities for interfaces included in a SWIMP.
  • Effectively coordinates issue resolution when needed, serves as a point of analysis and escalation, management resource, liaison between departments for SWIMP Implementations.
  • Assists client in defining interface project goals, project objectives, team responsibilities, specific tasks, key events, and project timelines.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution; handles sensitive situations with confidence.
  • Facilitates, hosts and manages client/vendor status meetings, issue identification, escalation, and resolution as they relate to the interface implementation process.
  • Seeks out opportunities to expand knowledge base on Project Management principles.
  • Works effectively in high pressure situations.
  • Avoids over-supervising but provides guidance to ensure projects stay on track/meet expectations.
  • Sustains a high achievement level.
  • Exerts a positive influence on the project team and the organization climate as whole; capitalizes on the talents of all team members participating in the project.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to follow through on issues to resolution.
  • Must be able to act both independently and as a team member.

Education/Experience/Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6+ years of software implementation and/or support service experience.
  • 3+ years of HL7 interface implementation experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare-based applications.
  • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership skills; ability to self-manage; excellent time management skills.
  • Successful experience Implementing or Supporting TruBridge applications.
  • Knowledge of Project Management processes; work toward/certified PMP.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Windows OS, networking topologies, and PC/Server hardware
