As the Inventory Compliance Specialist, you will serve as the frontline guardian of inventory accuracy and quality assurance. You will be responsible for inspecting grant inventories, verifying conditions, reconciling records, and ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards. Your role is vital in maintaining inventory integrity, reducing risk, and ensuring efficient fiber network construction and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

What You Will Do

In all of your duties, you will have a relentless, obsessive, yet disciplined approach to manage all details to perfection and deliver desired results.

• Conduct cycle counts on contractor remote storage sites to verify contractual compliance, inventory accuracy and control.

• Review inventory documents, specifications, change orders, and shipment records to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.

• Conduct site visits to physically inspect inventory / materials, ensuring appropriate storage, labeling, and overall integrity.

• Compile detailed inventory reports and presentations summarizing findings, identifying non-compliance issues, and recommending corrective actions.

• Investigate root causes of identified issues and implement effective solutions.

• Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols, including OSHA and internal company policies.

• Liaise with technicians, contractors, and warehouse teams to address findings and facilitate corrective actions.

• Provide training and guidance to field teams on quality guidelines, software procedures, and safety protocols.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

In addition to that, we require:

• A High School diploma or recognized equivalent.

• Proficiency in WMS inventory management applications.

• Formal forklift training or certification.

We will give special consideration to candidates who have:

• A four-year degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, or Engineering.

• Professional certifications like Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or APICS certification.

• Proven experience with ERPs and data visualization software, advanced Excel and Power BI.

• Experience in the construction or telecommunications industry, particularly with fiber optics.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Must be able to travel to other locations within the area (up to 75%). Must be able to lift 40 lbs., bend, stoop, and crawl, have finger/wrist/arm mobility, and finger dexterity. Schedule includes some evenings and Saturdays.
